Policies
Cancellation & Payment Policy
- Without Trip Insurance: Individuals (1-9 people): No money refunds are given. However, with at least 48 hours notice, you may reschedule your trip to a later date or receive a credit for the amount that you paid with no penalty.
- Without Trip Insurance: Groups of ten or more: No refund with less than three weeks notice for the entire group cancellation. With three weeks notice, River & Trail keeps 25% for administrative costs. Numbers may be fine tuned without penalty up until seven days prior to the trip.
- With Trip Insurance: Individuals (1-9 people): Cancel up to 48 hours in advance of your trip for any reason and receive a full refund for your trip. Cancellations less than 48 hours will receive a credit with a minimum of 1 hour notice before the trip. The cost of the insurance is non refundable.
- With Trip Insurance: Groups of ten or more: Cancel up to 48 hours in advance of your trip for any reason and receive a refund of your trip. Cancellations with less than 48 hours will receive a credit with a minimum 3 hour notice prior to the trip. The cost of the insurance is non refundable.
- A credit card must be on file in case any damage occurs to the cabins during your stay.
Campground Policies
Check-in time is 2 pm – 10 pm for RV and Tent Campers, and 3 pm – 10 pm for Cabin Guests.
Check-out time is by 11 am.
Campers who wish to check in BEFORE 2 pm or check out AFTER 11 am, may do so for a $25 fee. This option is based on site availability.
River & Trail Outfitters reserves the right to charge a fee for trash left in fire pits.
Golf carts are not permitted.
No smoking is permitted in the cabins.
Metal detecting, firearms, and fireworks are not permitted per a City of Brunswick ordinance.
No tents or RVs may be added to a cabin site.
Provided wristbands must be worn by guests at all times.
Firewood Policy
Brunswick Family Campground prohibits campers from bringing in their own firewood to minimize invasive species. For your convenience, the campground store sells firewood bundles.
Pet Policy
Friendly pets are allowed as long as they are on leash at all times. Dogs must not be the type to bark much as it disturbs other campers. Please be sure and scoop up your poop!
Fishing Policy
People 16 & older must have Maryland fishing licenses to fish in the Potomac. Licenses can be bought at Brunswick Hardware on Potomac Street in Brunswick, MD.

10:00pm – 9:00am
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the campground except within one’s RV, trailer, or tent. Those who violate this policy will be asked to leave with no refund.
